The Hotel Punta Tragara, on the island of Capri, is a prime example of the one-of-a-kind hotels that Italy has to offer. Barely a fifteen minute walk from the center of the city, the forty-three room villa holds on to the side of a cliff. Designed by Swiss architect Le Corbusier, The Hotel Punta Tragara offers twentieth-century stylings with its early modern architecture.
Even from the first moment, the hotel makes you feel welcome, offering to pick your bags up right as you exit the ferry. The staff know the local haunts and will offer you a rich array of restaurants to try. Breathtakingly gorgeous, the Hotel Punta Tragara is quite subdued for such a historical landmark.

Guests can take advantage of the two heated, saltwater swimming pools, or the massage and beauty treatments. The Bizantino restaurant offers a candlelight dinner that is refreshingly romantic. In all, the atmosphere is quite friendly and easy going when you consider the greatness the hotel boasts.

The innate good taste which is to be found throughout the Punta Tragara is also found in the refined menus in the Monzù Restaurant and in the La Pergola Pool Bar.
From breakfast to dinner guests can delight in a choice of aromas and flavours inspired by the most classical of Mediterranean traditions. And at lunch and dinner the genuine Mediterranean dishes and the fresh fish prepared by our chef, who is a true artist and culinary expert, are reflected in the array of specialties which are a feast not only for the eyes.
Monzù Restaurant.
The name “Monzù” is a deformation of the French “Monsieur” which is how they called the chefs who worked in the courts of leading Neapolitan aristocratic families between the 13th and the 19th century. Chef Arcucci’s menu includes many historical Capri favourites and Neapolitan dishes. As well as the main dining room there is also a panoramic veranda and other open areas with wonderful sea views which are prefect for romantic candle-lit dinners.
La Pergola Pool Bar.
The bar is the ideal spot for a thirst-quenching fizzy long drink or a cocktail which add an amusing note of colour to a dip in the pool. And at sundown what better place to enjoy a cocktail and the colours of the setting sun before sitting down to a romantic candle-lit dinner.
Beauty & Wellness
“UNICA”, a splendid oasis entirely given over to beauty and wellness treatments that offers guests a special programme to get them back in top form for the summer. Designed by Italian Architect Livio Talmona, Unica offers an inspired location over the sea with its 4 treatment rooms , relax area and gym.
Thalassoterapy.
The beneficial effects of sea water on the human body have been know since the dawn of time. Besides the hotel’s two sea-water swimming pools guests can benefit from the various treatments in a special tub which has been enriched with aromatic Dead Sea salts.
Beauty Rituals.
A wide variety of wellness rituals and massages have been studied to suit every kind of skin. The wellness rituals include peelings or gommages, massages and there are specific machines for body treatments. Try our SPA treatments simply to relax and chill out, there is no better way to unwind and rediscover the ideal balance between physical and mental wellbeing.
Gym.
The hotel’s gym is in the pool area with lovely views of the Mediterranean gardens and has a treadmill, a cyclette and a new Technogym Kinesys machine which is ideal for toning up the body.
