Covo Dei Saraceni

Guests who arrive at the Covo dei Saraceni Hotel would be greeted by rounded white walls with intricate blue stripe patterns after going through a long stone carved staircase from the harbor. True to the style of Positano, the Covo Dei Saraceni also features long flights of stairs that guests have to endure, as the elevators are usually full and takes a long queue to finally be able to hitch a ride to your floor.

Right upstairs is the ever popular bright blue pool deck with beautiful Positano inspired skyline backdrop which features lounges made of solid, teak wood. The pool deck is always fool especially during the summer. There are two in house restaurants that guests could choose from, where one is called the Covo dei Saraceni Restaurant, named after the hotel, or the more casual Brassiere which provides free buffet for breakfast.

"The Covo is not the best 5 star I have ever been to but its still OK, it is of course not old world charm luxury such as Parco dei Principi in Sorrento, but these are two very different hotels! ♥ This is a gorgeous hotel right on the main beach in Positano. The pool overlooks the ocean, and every room has a picture perfect view. Try to book one of the suites with a small private pool, they are reasonably priced and amazing."

For a budget of $900 and below, this luxurious hotel is quite cheap, and could steal deliver you with the luxurious Italian hotel experience you deserve in Positano. Every single room comes with sea view, and even the cheapest rooms are quite huge which features intricate glass door designs as well as balconies and dining tables and chairs made out of iron.

If you go for Junior Suites, it is supposed to be slightly larger, however you will be impressed with its Boscolo or Ritz style decoration which gives you that posh feel, as well as décor of plaster walls and ceilings in the bedrooms. Some of the private terrace offers view directly to the beach and harbor, however it is rarely available. If you have the money to spend, splurge on the Deluxe Suite, which features a Jacuzzi hot tub made out of wood right in the center of the room, facing the glass doors with view to the sea.
