1) I had a wonderful time in this hotel. The service is unbelievable.
The architecture is really nice but inside it’s…so tragic, pompous and ostentatious. do not forget your sunglasses!

Unique experience. Stayed a few times….it is what it is….over the top…slightly cringe worthy but hey….its Dubai.x
2) THE BEST HOTEL IN THE WHOLE WORLD … and it really deserve such a title : from the outstanding architecture, the outragious comfort, impacable service (descreat yet refined), excellent food in all outlets, unforgetable views on Dubai, and your private Concierge to ensure total satisfaciton.
At USD 2,000 per night minimum for the smallest room, I guess it worth every penny !!!!

Archicteture wise its the state of the art, decor is painful and service is absolutelly disgraceful
3) OVER or might I say UBER is the word, add it to a list of adjectives : Priced, Rated, Expected,Decorated,Pretentious, Service is sooooo bad, they keep coming into the room without even knocking, Ruude Service, the hostesses at the bar on top sooo Ignorant,Rude and Arrogant. NOBODY speaks english, the fare is 5,000 USD a night, Room service was 1,200 USD for 2 people 2 plates and cokes. the only nice thing is the architecture and the city arround it.
Inside a lot of gold, water, and show with shops and restaurants. no balcony for the rooms but a spectacular underwater restarant with a lot of fish swimming around, bar at the top provides great views over Dubai in a bit kitch atmosphere.
4) A place one has to see when in Dubai, but as a Holiday Hotel not very usefull: no direct beach acess, no windows to open, no holiday feeling. Service is great, but the restaurants there are overpriced!
Nice architecture, rare and expensive stuff inside but the service not up to expectations especially at the bar on top. if service is bad, nothing else matters.
So overrated!!! Staying there right now.
This place is hilarious. A must see, but ridiculous. Feels dated, but in a good way. Definitely a land mark. Expensive? Yeah, but’s Dubai baby…
Very spectacular…and great restaurant too…if you’re 6/10 people, ask for the private room…..you’ll have a special night in a kind of acquarium!

Pro: The best service ever. Very large rooms. Breathtaking architecture and interior (though golden watertaps etc. not in everyone´s taste).
Con: No direct beach access (2 min buggy drive).
