An evening gala to celebrate the 150 years of the Italians Association and in particular the value of health as a universal good. Fulcrum of the night was a fashion show which has involved some of the most important Italian families of business. These include Bianca Brandolini d’Adda, the elder daughter of Giovanni Agnelli – former Fiat and Juventus president – engaged to her cousin Lapo Elkann, the young Matilde Borromeo, and even the Farmindustria President’s daughter Nathalie, showing collections of Etro and Lucilla Bonaccorsi Alice, daughter of the italian fashion designer Luisa Beccaria.

In a few words, the jet set girls calls to launch a unison message against anorexia. The idea came from the Princess Scilla Ruffo di Calabria who has answered: “I have been anorexic from 14 to 19 years and it has never been released completely. A disease that continues to lead you but you learn to control. ”

A message shared also by Matilde Borromeo: “We dont need to pursue an impossible ideal of thinness and demonstrate how also in glossy to follow fashion beauty go by hands with health.”

Topic it was been shared by Mayor Letizia Moratti also, who did the honors with Councillor Giampaolo Landi di Chiavenna. The mayor in this occasion, has underlined her thought regarding a specific project: “Beauty is Normal”.

She said also to be involved with the Chamber of Fashion to work strongly to ensure that into the runway can play only girls who meet standards that reach everyone.”
