1) You can try in MESTRE:
It’s located ten minutes from Canal Grande of Venice.
2) I was in Venice at the weekend, have to be honest would it not be better to park your car at Marco Polo airport and get a water taxi to Venice…. 30 mins. That way you can stay in a nice hotel in Venice and are nearby everything.
3) I am not sure about other hotels but we stayed in the Hotel Danieli which I couldnt really fault although more old world luxury than some of the modern boutique hotels. I agree that the best place to park your car is at the airport
4) Hi, in Venice it is better if you leave the car at Parking lot in Piazzale Roma and reach with taxi-boat to any 5* hotels in the center, e.g. Luna Hotel Baglioni near San Marco square. Or Hotel Danieli and Hotel Cipriani the famous ones.
5) Outside of Venice you can stay in the Riviera del Brenta, the place is very nice but it takes you like 30 minutes to go to Venice. And there is not 5 stars hotels, but there are nice hotels in old venetian villa. For 5 stars hotel it’s better if you choice to go to Venice.

6) As other people said: Hotel Cipriani, Danieli, also the Hotel Bauer is really near San Marco Square.
Have fun
7) Do you think it is a safe place the parking lot in Piazza Roma to park my Ferrari?
Pizza Rome should be fine to park, they are expensive and 100% watched.
Here some restaurants advice
Mirai for Sushi
Do Forni
Harry’s Bar
Antico Pignolo
Linea d’Ombra
We suggest also to go for dinner:
Ristorante Da Fiore
S. Polo, Calle del Scaleter, 2002, Venice
Telephone: 041721308 (ask for Maurizio, the owner)
Book in advance and ask for the table on the little terrace!
Best food in Venice and very romantic location!
Advice regarding the Restaurant Da Fiore
8) Be sure you’ll have “the” Bellini at Harris Bar!
9) For the car park I suggest to park at the Airport as they have an area reserved for expensive cars.
10) Having visited all the hotels described above I am going to go out on a limb and tell you that in the end you will probably prefer The Westins Europa and Regina Hotel. It is light and cheerful but equallly stunning as any palazzo on the Grand Canal. Try and get a room with a view over the Grand Canal.

11) The problem with the others is really that ‘old world charm’ makes the seem hotels a bit dark. Danieli’s I find stunning historicaly but gloomy, Hotel Gritti Palace the same, both need to get into the 21st century. Cipriani is GREAT if you can get a reservation.
12) Eat at Harry’s Bar at least once, the restaurant is above the bar.
13) Hotel Cipriani is the best place to go, out of the crowd but on the Giudecca Island just 5 min by boat taxi from piazza San Marco. Two yummy retsaurants: Cip’s informal and Fortuny’s a classic milestone.
14) I went to the Palazzo Bauer, which is an extension of the Bauer, but in an old palace, directly on the Grand Canal, 5 minutes from San Marco. It is stunning and very good taste. The also have a Jacuzzi on their roof, with a view on San Marco, that you can privatise. It can be very romantic.
Portofino World, a world apart.
